Biography:
Victor Shade, also known as Vision, is a synthezoid character appearing in Marvel Comics. He was originally created by the evil robot Ultron as a weapon against the Avengers. Ultron based Vision's brain patterns on those of the deceased Wonder Man, Simon Williams.
Vision possesses superhuman strength, speed, density control, and the ability to project energy beams. He can alter his density to become intangible, allowing him to pass through solid objects, or incredibly dense, making him virtually indestructible. His solar jewel on his forehead absorbs ambient solar energy, fueling his powers.
Ultimately, Vision rebelled against Ultron and joined the Avengers, becoming a valuable member of the team. He developed a romantic relationship and married fellow Avenger, the Scarlet Witch, Wanda Maximoff. Their relationship was complex and often fraught with challenges related to Vision's artificial nature and Wanda's unstable powers. They would later have children though through magical means.
Despite his artificial origins, Vision has consistently striven to understand and embrace humanity. His character explores themes of identity, consciousness, and the nature of life and love. He has faced numerous challenges, including identity crises, dismantlement, and reassembly, solidifying his place as a compelling and significant figure in the Marvel Universe.
